The increasing power of networks and computers today allow the use of multimedia information systems, which was unthinkable a few years ago. The increasing flexibility of workplaces today requires information systems where data access is independent of time and place. The event will cover application development taking into account such requirements.

2. Architecture of distributed MM applications
3. Design of distributed applications
4. Development of distributed MM applications
5. Distributed data management and security aspects
6. Further topics

The event will be held in a seminar. The students work on the basis of selected current technologies as part of smaller development projects

Knowledge of communication networks, network protocols and standard techniques for developing distributed applications.Knowledge of different media types and their complexity in processing in SW systems
