- Brief description
 The module aims to integrate the theoretical knowledge learned in previous event-related courses so that students can apply them in a practical context in their final academic year. It also aims to improve the consciousness and practical ability of students, including theory-based skills and practical industrial techniques.
- Teaching and learning outcomes
 Students apply their theoretical knowledge during short practical projects with different trade shows and exhibitions or other events and festivals.
The main contents include:
- initiating an exhibition / event theme
 - developing a concept
 - creating related marketing material
 - exhibitor and stakeholder management using a CRM computer system

 The total workload for the module is 150 hours (see also "ECTS credit points and grading").

- Remark on the assessment methods
 The portfolio examination consists of:
PFP1: a presentation (30%) and a written project report (70%)
PFP2: a written project report (50%) and oral project report (PMU; 50%)
PFP3: a presentation (50%) and a written case study (50%)
- Exam duration and scope
 Presentation: approx. 15-20 minutes
Written project report: approx. 15-20 pages
Oral project report: approx. 30 minutes
Written case study: approx. 15 pages

- Knowledge Broadening
 Students who successfully complete this module understand how to develop a new exhibition / event project and can follow the different steps and procedures of organising an event.
- Knowledge deepening
 By means of doing a practical event project, students become familiar with the distinctive features of an exhibition / event as well as the stakeholders involved.
- Knowledge Understanding
 In developing an event concept, students will use their creative ideas, writing and designing skills to consequently create a comprehensive exhibition/event plan and to solve arising issues and challenges on the way.
- Application and Transfer
 Students are required to master different demands and requirements to solve application-oriented problems. After finishing the module, students are able to collect, evaluate and interpret relevant information in their study programme, and then develop solutions and implement respective solutions according to the latest academic findings.
- Academic Innovation
 Students are expected to generate new knowledge rather than only applying existing knowledge. After the completion of the module, students are expected to not only be able to derive and define research questions, explain and justify the operationalisation of research, but also be able to explain and summarise research results.
- Communication and Cooperation
 Students are required to work in teams, so they obtain related communication, leadership, and argumentation skills.
- Academic Self-Conception / Professionalism
 The application of existing knowledge plays an important role. Students are encouraged to apply the existing knowledge to understand the event industry and work out solutions for the problems.
