Designing in a landscape context requires an aesthetic and creative approach to the landscape environment in addition to the examination of a variety of scientifically based framework conditions. Designing is a methodical-rational and at the same time intuitive-design process in which the categories of preservation, transformation and sustainable change in the landscape space are weighed against each other and presented in their spatial-aesthetic effect.
The aim of the module is to deal creatively with the design space ‘landscape’ and to find design-relevant and appropriate design solutions for a specific planning task. In addition, basic knowledge for structural realisation is taught.
