On July 01, 2022, we were able to successfully conduct the officially last ROSE graduate school. At the same time, it was the start and continuation of the series of events in the Talent Academy Health & Living in the CarLa project at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. The main topic of the event was digitalisation in Switzerland. Adrian Schmid from eHealth Suisse presented on Digital Networking in a Small Federal State. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Thomas Bürkle from the Bern University of Applied Sciences gave a presentation on Digicare: How does Digitalisation Affect Care - A Field Study. Dr. Michael Kleinknecht-Dolf from the University Hospital Zurich concluded with a presentation on How Digital Data can be Useful for Managing Care in Hospitals and the Resources Required for This - An Example from a Swiss Multi-Centre Study.
On May 13, 2022, we were able to successfully conduct the official penultimate ROSE graduate school. Prof. Dr. Michael Simon from the University of Basel reported on Using Routine Data in Health Services Research: Capacity Utilisation and Mortality. Dr. Madlen Fiebig from epaCC presented then Care Transparent and Assessable - The Benefits of Structured Data. Niels Hannemann from the University of Osnabrück concluded with the topic The Use of Digital Health Applications According to Socio-Demographic/ Socio-Economic Stratification and the Influence of Subjectively Perceived Attitudes on their Use.
On April 08, 2022, we were able to successfully conduct the first ROSE graduate college in the summer semester 2022. Prof. Dr. Andrius Patapovas from the Technical University of Nuremberg reported on IT Maturity Measurement Using Check-IT: Experiences from Municipal Hospital. Prof. Dr. Alexander Geissler from the University of St. Gallen then presented the DigitalRadar: The Tool for Measuring the Digital Maturity of German Hospitals. Dr. Jeannette Stark and Dr. Hannes Schlieter from the Technical University of Dresden concluded with the topic A Maturity Model for the Digitization of the Public Health Service - A Project Insight.
On January 28, 2022, we were able to conduct the last ROSE graduate program in the winter semester 2021/2022. As guest, Prof. Dr. Matthias Weigl and Katharina Wenderott M.Sc. from University Hospital Bonn presented on the topic of Patient Safety and Digital Technologies in Clinical Care: Current Challenges as well as Dr.-Ing. Myriam Lipprandt Dipl.-Inform. from the University Hospital RWTH Aachen on the topic Usability Matter - from Application Error to Patient Harm. Nicole Egbert M.A. from the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences concluded the graduate program with a presentation on Learning from CIRS to Improve Patient Safety in Handovers.
On December 10, 2021, we were able to conduct the second ROSE graduate program in the winter semester 2021/2022. As an international guest, Prof. Dr. Gabriela Wilson from the University of Texas at Arlington spoke on What is next? Emerging Trends in the Post-Covid Healthcare World. Dr. Jan-Patrick Wei? from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences reported on Analyzing the Essential Attributes of Nationally Issued COVID-19 Contact Tracing Apps: Open-Source Intelligence Approach and Content Analysis.
On November 19, 2021, we were able to conduct the first ROSE graduate program in the winter semester 2021/2022. As an international guest, Prof. Dr. Guy Paré from HEC Montréal spoke on Medical students' familiarity with and intention to integrate digital health into their medical practice: a pre- and post-COVID-19 study in Canada. Christopher Gundler M.Sc. from mindQ reported on Bayesian modelling of parasympathetic activity as an adaptive diagnostic procedure. The final lecture was given by Prof. Dr. Ulrich Sax from the University Medical Center G?ttingen, who presented the topic Biomedical Informatics.
On June 23, 2021 we could successfully conduct the last ROSE graduate program (online) in the summer semester. As guests, PD Dr. med. habil. Cornelia Erfurt-Berge from the University Hospital Erlangen presented on the topic Diagnostik der chronischen Wunde and Prof. Dr. med. Joachim Dissemond from the University Hospital Essen on Pyoderma gangraenosum. Jens Hüsers (M.A.) from the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences concluded with a presentation on Datenbasierte Entscheidungsunterstützung in der Wundversorgung.
On May 28, 2021, we were able to successfully hold the second ROSE graduate program online in the summer semester of 2021. International guests Kathrin Cresswell (PhD) from the University of Edinburgh presented on Creating a Digital Health Learning Ecosystem in the UK - Results From a National Evaluation of the Global Digital Exemplar Programme and Prof. Dr. Elske Ammenwerth from UMIT in Hall in Tirol on Impact of Patient Access to Electronic Health Records via Patient Portals - Results of a Cochrane Review. The final presentation was given by Dr. Regina Schmeer from the Hannover Medical School. Her presentation was on the Use and Acceptance of Innovative Technology in Nursing.
On April 23, 2021 we were able to successfully hold the first ROSE Graduate Program (online) in the summer semester 2021. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gunther Heidemann from the University of Osnabrück reported on Deep Neural Networks for Computer Vision. Prof. Dr. Anke Simon from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (Stuttgart) presented on the topic of Digital Hospital: High Hopes, Sobering Reality. Finally, we were able to win Prof. Andrew Sixsmith (PhD) from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver as an international guest, who spoke on the topic of Long-Term Impact of COVID-19 on Technology and Aging Research and Innovation.
On January 15, 2021, we were able to successfully hold the last ROSE Graduate Program online for the winter semester from the home office. Sidsel Villumsen (PhD) from the Midtjylland - Central Denmark Region gave a lecture on the topic: Development and Progression in Danish eHealth Policies - Towards Evidence-Based Policy Making? Another guest, Prof. Dr. Till Winkler from the FernUniversit?t in Hagen, presented on National Digital Health Agility in Times of Crisis - Insights from a Comparative Study of Four Countries. Finally, Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Breitschwerdt from the Wilhelm Büchner dafabet888官网,大发dafa888 - Mobile University of Technology gave a presentation on: Success Factors for Designing Healthcare Information Systems.
On December 11, 2020, we were able to successfully conduct the last ROSE Graduate Program online for the year 2020 from the home office. Prof. Dr. Andreas Büscher from the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück presented on the topic Evaluation of the Dutch Buurtzorg Approach in Outpatient Care. Guest speaker Dr. med. Kai Heitmann from the Health Innovation Hub of the German Federal Ministry of Health gave a presentation on Ingredients for Proper Interoperability - How Collaboration Succeeds. Finally, international guest Prof. Dr. Gabriela Mustata Wilson from the University of Texas presented on Now is the Time: The Need for Interprofessional Training in Health Informatics.
On November 13, 2020, we were able to successfully conduct the first ROSE Graduate Program (online) in the winter semester 20/21. Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Inform. Klaus-Hendrik Wolf from the Peter L. Reichertz Institute for Medical Informatics (PLRI) gave a talk on AGT-Reha: Health-Enabling Technologies Supporting the Rehabilitation Process at Home. Another guest, Dr. Giovanni Rubeis from the Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg gave a presentation on Chancen und Risiken Künstlicher Intelligenz in der Pflege. International guests Prof. Dr. Kerstin Denecke from the Bern University of Applied Sciences spoke on Conversational Agents Meet Mobile Health Applications and Thomas Rotter (PhD, Associate Professor) from Queen's University in Canada spoke on Healthcare Quality in Canada: The Rise and Fall of Lean Management.
On June 18, 2020, we were able to successfully conduct the last ROSE Graduate Program online for the summer semester from the home office. Alexander Wolf from the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences presented on the topic Delphi-Studie zur Brückenfunktion zwischen 1. und 2. Gesundheitsmarkt durch Nutzung von Technologien der Selbstvermessung in 2030. As a guest, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Staemmler from the Stralsund University of Applied Sciences spoke on the topic of Digitalization Maturity in the German Health System. Finally, Dipl.-Psych. Jens Rauch from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences gave a presentation on Data Integration and Analytics in Local Learning Health Systems.
On May 14, 2020, we were able to successfully conduct the second ROSE Graduate Program online from the home office. Franziska Jahn from the University of Leipzig presented on Information Management in Hospitals: Theory vs. Practice. International guests Prof. Dr. Ricardo Correia from the University of Porto presented on Lack of Data Quality in Electronic Patient Records: Examples and Missed Opportunities and Dr. Alexandrina Cardoso also from Porto from CINTESIS - Center for Health Technology and Services Research presented on Nursing Information Systems, ICNP and Nursing Ontology. The final presentation was given by Prof. Dr. Dagmar Krefting from the University Hospital G?ttingen. She gave her presentation on "Reproducible Research" - Pitfalls and FAIR Solutions.
On April 16, 2020, we were able to successfully conduct the first ROSE Graduate Program online from the home office. Dr. Dipl.-Sportwiss. Dirk M?ller of the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences gave a lecture on The Systematic Collection of Risk Factors, Frequencies of Playing-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders and Muscular Activity in the Clinical Context of Musicians - From the First Idea to the Dissertation.
On February 27, 2020, we successfully held the last event of the ROSE Graduate Program in the winter semester 19/20. Prof. Dr. Daniel Flemming of the Katholische Stiftungshochschule München University of Applied Sciences reported on the Digitalisierung der pflegerischen Bildung – unendliche Weiten. Karolin Schmidt Bremme from the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences was able to report on her doctoral thesis on Safety Culture in the Emergency Department: Identification and Development of Competencies for Shaping a Safety Culture in the Emergency Department in the Sense of High Reliability. Prof. Dr. Dr. Langanke of the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Rhineland-Westphalia-Lippe spoke on Ethics meets IT - Normative Aspekte der Digitalisierung des Gesundheitswesens.
On January 16, 2020, we were able to successfully hold the first event of the ROSE Graduate Program in the new year. As an international guest Prof. Dr. Kaija Saranto from University of Eastern Finland reported on the Guiding Role of a Paradigm in Doctoral Studies. Prof. Dr. Bj?rn Sellemann from Münster University of Applied Sciences reported on the topic KI & Pflege = Komplexe Inspiration für die Pflege?
On December 05, 2019, we were able to hold the first event of the newly established ROSE Graduate Program in the Caprivi Lounge (CaLo) at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. For this, we were able to attract prominent national and international guest speakers. Prof. Paula Procter from Sheffield Hallam University reported on the topic of The Robots are Coming: is the healthcare workforce ready? Prof. Dr. Martin Sedlmayr from TU Dresden reported on Datenintegrationszentren als Basis für die medizinische Forschung mit Big Data. Manuela Raddatz spoke about her doctorate on the topic of Access to the field via German "Einwohnermelde?mter" (residents' registration office).
