Industrial Engineering for Agricultural and Horticultural Businesses (B.Eng.)
Program structure
Structure of the program
In six semesters, we prepare systematically for exciting professional task fields in Agricultural and Hortibusiness. To do this, you first receive comprehensive insight into the diverse production and trade levels of this growing industry, from the supplier industry up to the marketing of agricultural products. In addition, we will teach you all important technical and methodological basics for the study, such as Mathematics, IT, Study Management and Communication Techniques.
In contrast to Agricultural Sciences courses with a production-technical focus, the Industrial Engineering degree program places significantly greater emphasis in the field of economic education.
In addition to the economic orientation of the degree program, production-related aspects play an important role. Because these cannot be conveyed to the same extent as in the classical agricultural courses, there are four specific majors (profiles) to choose from. You can already set the desired profile in the 2nd semester.
The following profiles are available:
- Agricultural crop production (P)
- Livestock business (T)
- Horticulture (G)
- Agricultural machinery (A)
