Master of Science
Characteristics of the study program Management and Technology, Campus Lingen (Ems)
The Management and Technology program is an interdisciplinary program and is primarily aimed at graduates of Bachelor's programs in the fields of business informatics and industrial engineering and management. The career profiles of business informatics and industrial engineering and management close the professional gap between the technical disciplines (computer science, engineering) and the economic disciplines. Accordingly, graduates of the programme "Management and Technology" are enabled to combine technical and business perspectives based on their prior knowledge and to arrive at an integrated approach. Special attention is paid to integrative and interdisciplinary aspects of strategic and operational management in the context of digital transformation. Through specialisations in the fields of computer science and engineering, additional in-depth technical expertise is acquired. Therefore graduates are able to design and implement technical systems in an operational context and actively shape the digital transformation.
