Wissensverbreiterung

Students are familiar with the most important event technologies and are proficient in the use and selection of appropriate technologies according to the specific requirements of digital, hybrid and analog events, particularly in the business event industry. They are also familiar with conference platforms, software, internet services and security requirements for event technology. They can plan and procure appropriate services in the required quality and select suitable service providers.

Wissensvertiefung

Students deal with the costs and target group-specific requirements as well as with environmental-economic aspects of sustainable event technology in order to conserve resources and reduce operating costs. Knowledge is understood as available stock of knowledge, cumulatively-qualitatively extended, specialized-qualitatively deepened and critically-reflexively questioned.

Wissensverst?ndnis

Students are able to apply and reflect on their knowledge. They are able to research current scientific findings and apply them in a practical project. They are thus able to develop coordinated, professionally sound concepts for events. Students have presentation skills and can present concepts in a well-structured media form. Students can identify technical problems and work out solutions.

Nutzung und Transfer

The students can transfer and apply the acquired knowledge to other problems and applications. In practical examples, the transfer to real application fields is tested and independently implemented by the students. Students will be able to apply knowledge and understanding to activities in their future career field and develop or refine solutions to problems in their area of expertise.

Wissenschaftliche Innovation

Digital and hybrid events in particular have experienced a strong upswing in recent years. Scientific investigation of this field of the event industry is just beginning. The topic is therefore to be considered very innovative.

Kommunikation und Kooperation

The students come into contact with external technical experts as part of the module. They develop scientifically sound concepts for digital, hybrid and real events and present these to practice partners. The students formulate professional and factual solutions to problems within their actions and are able to justify them in discourse with representatives of the subject area as well as with people from outside the subject area using theoretically and methodically sound argumentation. In doing so, they reflect and take into account different perspectives and interests of other participants.

Wissenschaftliches Selbstverst?ndnis / Professionalit?t

This is a typical field of action of applied science. Concrete solutions to problems are to be developed on the basis of a solid scientific foundation and scientific methods of analysis. Students develop a professional self-image that is oriented towards goals and standards of professional action in predominantly non-scientific professional fields. They are able to assess their own abilities, autonomously reflect on factual design and decision-making freedoms and use these under guidance and critically reflect on their professional actions in relation to societal expectations and consequences.
