Aspects of the legal, political, economic or social system of other countries are compared with the situation in the Federal Republic of Germany. Findings are evaluated, interpreted and presented in English.

• Presentation of aspects of the legal, political, economic and social system of other countries focusing on public administration
• Comparison with the legal, political, economic and social system of the Federal Republic of Germany
• Critical assessment, analysis of advantages and disadvantages of the differences and similarities

Wissensverbreiterung
The students know the basics of the legal, political, economic and social system of other countries.

Wissensvertiefung
The students acquire in-depth knowledge in one or more specific fields of the public sector of other countries in the context of the specific economic, legal, political or social situation and identify and describe differences and assess the advantages and disadvantages.

K?nnen - instrumentale Kompetenz
The students learn to compare aspects of the legal, political, economic or social system of other countries with the situation in the Federal Republic of Germany, evaluate and interpret the findings and present them.

K?nnen - kommunikative Kompetenz
The students are able to compile, illustrate and present the results of their comparative studies of the legal, political, economical or social system in other countries compared to the Federal Republic of Germany. They have the ability to develop recommendations for the public administration in Germany and other countries.

K?nnen - systemische Kompetenz
Students apply to the comparison of the aspects of the legal, political, economical or social system of other countries and the Federal Republic of Germany with previously learned methods and tools from the disciplines of economics, law, politics and social sciences. They take a look at a problem from multiple scientific perspectives to arrive at a holistic view.

requirement: Successful degree in English 3 (Language for Specific Purposes - Business and Law)/CEF B1/B2
