- Kurzbeschreibung
Students in this module learn about process and quality management as an integrative management concept. Students are made aware that quality management involves managerial responsibilities aimed at establishing and implementing the organisation’s quality policy. Quality management seeks to ensure that quality requirements are met. It covers the areas of quality planning, quality assessment/control, quality steering, quality assurance and quality optimisation. The features of process and quality management depend on the specifics of the service/product as well as the relevant situational and cultural context, which is demonstrated to students by comparing sectors and industries. Against this backdrop, students learn the specifics of process and quality management in nonprofit organisations. They learn about the techniques and tools of process and quality management, and discover the limitations of their application. In addition, students learn about the tools and methods of project management, taking into account the specifics of the nonprofit sector.
